Notice of Duplicate Publication
To the Editor:
I am writing concerning an issue of duplicative publication involving myself and co-authors. An article published in the March 2006 issue of Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology (1) reproduced, without appropriate citation, both language and data that were initially published in the August 1, 2004, issue of AJRCCM (2). The article in Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology was a part of a special issue dedicated to "The International Workshop on 11 - and 17 -Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenases" held in Germany in May 2005. Both publications belong to the same laboratory. We apologize for this example of duplicative publication. Editors of both journals have been notified of this occurrence.
